Reshaping Civil Law in the Age of the Digital Economy

Civil law is a body of laws and rules that govern the relationships between individuals in society. This means that civil law focuses on the rights and obligations of individuals and businesses, as opposed to criminal law which is concerned with violations of common morality and legality.

Under civil law, individuals have the right to file lawsuits to assert their rights and resolve any disputes between them. The decision issued by the court is a decisive factor in the resolution of the dispute.

Civil law also includes contract law, which governs contractual relationships between individuals and businesses. Under this law, contracts must be honored and parties to an agreement must honor their obligations.
